Christmas & Chips Samples by Denise

Well lucky lady me this week! I have been showing off the great samples made by my Design Team created using the new CD from Crafty Catz called Christmas & Chips. The ones today are stunning!  Created by the Lovely Denise Milligan. As usual Denise puts her crafty spin on my designs and comes up with some cracking cards (pardon the pun) and a few different ideas to take you out of the safety zone of card making.
I just want to say a huge thanks again to Denise for taking the time to do these for me. You Rock huni and well done on your weight loss xxx
So here are her samples

What a Hoot Owl for MIL

My Mother In Law will be 70 on the 1st November but they are going away for a wee holiday to celebrate. Was wondering what kind of card to do for her, but my hubby asked if I could do her one of my owls from the What a Hoot disk as an easel. This has been a very popular disk as have the easel cards when we have done the Hobbycraft shows etc. Every time I make one of these it is like giving away one of my little babies lol (may be a slight exageration) Oh and the reason my hubby knows about the cards lol he has done loads of shows with me where people have cooed over them.
The disk this came from is called What a Hoot available from our website www.craftycatz.co.uk/shop priced a £6.99 it is a steal!!!

Christmas & Chips Samples by Donna Marie Rowlands

I have been sent these amazing samples by another one of my Design Team, Donna Marie Rowlands. What I love about Donna is she always comes up with more than cards, not that I don't love cards but she does things with my CDs that I never even thought to do, which I love. This is the part I love about Designing Craft CDs, the part where the very creative ladies on the Design Team send me their creations.
Thanks again Donna for doing these samples and for your continued support. You (like Sue) ROCK!!!

Samples by Sue

Firstly a huge thanks once again to Sue Trimingham. I always appreciate you taking the time to make samples for me, you rock xx
I have shared these pictures on facebook but thought I'd add them to my blog. I am very guilty of not blogging too much, so making a mental note to do better in future. Hmm!!! only time will tell if I keep to this. These gorgeous samples were made by one of the ladies on my Design Team called Sue Trimingham. The samples made are using my new disk Christmas & Chips, which is available from our website www.craftycatz.co.uk/shop priced at just £9.99.
The Cracker and Bauble shaped cards are also on the disk, in fact 24 of each as well as the usual huge amout of paper, decoupage sheets, insets etc.

A few quick cards made using oure new Christmas & Chips CD

Ok it seems a wee bit later in the year than I anticipated but the new CD Christmas & Chips is here. I am delighted with this one. Anyone who knows me or has bought one of my  CDs knows how much work goes into them. Not just the designing part but getting the menus sorted so the disk is easy to navigate without having to fish through folders etc to find where everything is.
I decided to put patterned cracker and bauble shaped cards on this one, as usual I got carried away and put 24 of each on. I love the crackers they are so easy to do, print, cut , fold and decorate but because they have the paper designs on them they would make stunning cards without much effort at all. Another fab aspect is, all the images are jpeg so changing the size is as easy as telling the printer to print 2 or more images per A4 sheet and the images are sized for you through your printer dialogue box.
Anyway enough of my rambling on. Here are 2 of the Cracker cards made up.

New CD Christmas & Chips is now finished

Phew, when did life get so busy? Hmm think it has always been so! Anyway, the new disk Christmas & Chips is now finished and should be available on the website at the begining of next week.
This one seems to have taken me a wee bit longer but I have more on and had a wee Designing break, after all we have had some great New CDs out this year.
Please note this disk will be cheaper than it listed on the website (at the present moment), just had to enter that so it showed up as coming soon on the website and the listing got complicated due to the Massive sale on the website at the moment. (or maybe I am not clever enough to work it out)

Ok then, on with the hop!
For this hop I am going to showcase 2 of my cards. So here are todays creations

For the card above, I used Spellbinders Poinsetta die on perilised card, cut the borders using Nellie Snellen die. I used paper from a free pad I got in a magazine. Embellished with Viva pearl pen to make the little pearls and flower centers.

For this card I again used Pearlised card (my fav). Again free papers from a pad, cut out the shape, word love and paper flowers with Cricut. Added ribbon and card Candi to finish it off.

Each day remember to leave comments on ALL the blogs in the hop as you need to comment to be eligible to win the prizes, divided up into a top 3, Gill will announce the winners later in the week after the hop closes.

I hope you like what I have come up with.

So your next hop stop is  http://papercreationsbymindyblog.blogspot.com  where you will find another fabby creation from Mindy
